Greetings,

I am using Windows Live Mail and was very happy with it until recently. I had set up the software so that everything was on my computer withour any connection to the MS web services. Then, I wanted to share sme photos with a friend and signed in to the MS web services and shared the photos. To my suprise, my calendar had been moved to the web and I had to sign in every time I opened the software. If I didn't sign in, I could not access my calandar. I presume my contacts and possibly other things we also uploaded tot eh web. In this day of hackers, I would like to get my calendar back onto my computer, erase the web content and never have to sign in again.

Can someone tell me how to do this?

It is amazing that once again MS has done things without asking first. I am very sorry I used their photo sharing software.

Thanks for your help!

Ray

perhaps move to a different product like mozilla's thunderbird. its keep feature is that its free! You can also use it to sign into your live account anyway, and should be able to import the calender back to where you can control it.
