Hello,
I have a gmail account and was using Windows Live Mail 2011 with W7 operating system until something happened and I cannot get it to go back on line. Searching the internet provided an answer to go to IE and click go on line or cycle that button. Well I use Firefox and I cannot get a version of IE that has this feature. So I also have a working copy of Microsoft office 2007 which has Outlook. So I decided to use Outlook as my mail client.
I followed the directions on how to export the WLM data, however after working on several hundred messages a screen pops up asking me to enter the password for a previous email account. Let me step back and say that I had an old email account with a previous internet supplier (it is that account that is popping up). When I switched to Gmail, I imported all of the previous account into Gmail, and now I am trying to import the Gmail account into Outlook.
The sad thing is I don't remember the password and in fact the provider is out of business.
So now I have this pop up holding up the migration. Why does it need to have this data? Also if it needs the data is there a way to bypass this request?
Thank you for you help in advance!
