Hi,
I have a member who uses Windows Live Mail 2012 as their email client.
I purchased IMAP email hosting for them from smarthosting, only none of the sent emails are being recorded.
I have tried the 'root' folder path setting in the IMAP section along with the special folder settings, but then no emails are visible at all (no inbox / no sent, no trash etc)
Smart Hosting support have spent weeks trying to fix this and now they are saying it's Microsoft's fault and only they can fix the problem.
Alternatively they have suggested the user installs Thunderbird?
Is this the right thing to do, unfortunately they only have the bottom of the range Office so no Outlook.
What is the best IMAP email client you guys would recommend instead of Windows Live Mail 2012?
Thanks,
1DMF
