A client of mine has had this PC for 2 years, purchased from a reseller who is now out of business, no cd supplied with unit but a windows xp image on a second drive for recovery.
Last week a download from microsoft has now show a popup at the start of windows, "This is not a geniun version of windows xp".
He can see use PC, but when you click on the popup it takes you to microsoft to purchase a new licence.
Have been unable to uninstall popup, is there a way of entering a new product key to stop this without having to re-install windows?
