Have a problem where certain new Excel files (I'm not sure which version of Excel these were created in)suddenly cannot be opened up from a Novell network. An error message comes up stating that the file is either read only, write protected or the drive is unavailable, all of which is not true. But, if that same file is placed on the desktop, it opens no problem. This does not pertain to all Excel files, only recent ones. We are using Office XP with sp2. The only users having this problem with these files are Windows 2000 and XP. Windows 98 users can open these up with no problem. I'm baffled.
