Using Excel 2002 SP2 and DocsOPEN 3.96 build 32
This is just plain weird:
In the "Standard" toolbar in MS Excel, clicking on the "Microsoft Excel Help" button starts the DocsOPEN Quick Retrieve window. If I look at the properties for the button, I can see the macro PCDOCSFILEOPEN is assigned. I correct this by removing the macro or dragging a new button to the toolbar. After doing this, the button works correctly. HOWEVER: Quit and Start Excel. The faulty behavior has returned! Somehow, docsxlXP.xla overwrites the assingment to this button.
Anyone else care to test this? Or maybe someone solved this already?
I've found this workaround: if I drag a new "Microsoft Excel Help" button to any toolbar except the "Standard" toolbar, it doesn't get overwritten.
Interested in your experiences!
