Windows Group Authentication SQL 2005

Hi,

To simplify administration I like to give members of a windows group in active directory read access to particular database on a sql server 2005 server.

I can add the AD group as dbreader of this database.. but
the users can't connect to the database with ODBC.

Any idea?

What error message do your users receive?

It was error: 18456

Meanwhile the error has been solved by recreating the login on the SQl server.
