Hello,
I have been using Netbackup for years on Unix and pretty ok with that. However we now plan to start migrating our windows servers from backup exec to NetBackup. I have little windows experience.

What is the best way to set up the windows drives ?

Some single drives could be 145 GB in size, some small.

I dont want to be backing up 145 Gb in a single stream.

Can I wildcard the drive. Will the disk get thrashed to death ?

HP-UX Master and several HP-UX media servers. SSO. 4.5 MP6

6 LTO1's in a STK L180.

Many thanks for any input. - Doctorski

If your not careful the drive may be thrashed. If you want to create smaller images then you can use multistream but I suggest limiting the policy to 1 active job.
