About once a day, I'll click on a program in the taskbar, and nothing happens. In about 15 seconds, a pop-up will appear. This informs me that Windows Explorer is not responding and Windows will search for a clue. In about 5 seconds the Window gives me choices including restarting the program. It does, and everything is fine for a day or two, and then it happens again!

Is this a common problem? I can't find anything in the logs to indicate a problem - unless I'm not looking in the right place!

OK, downloaded and installed the "hotfix". Rebooted, and everything's good for now. Let's see if it stay's OK!!!
All kinds of warnings to wait for SP-1 !!! Who knows when that will be? <grin>

Microsoft have already released Service Pack 1 Release Candidate for public beta testing so I imagine it wont be too long before we all get the final SP1.

Yeah - can't wait! They claim it is nothing but all the security updates we already have, rolled up into one! Surely Microsoft wouldn't mis-inform us!!!

Anyway, thanks for the help - everything's still OK. Will have to just go on and see.
