My computer ( windows 2000) hangs when I try to open and navigate windows explorer. This does not happen if I navigate by going to my computer.
This happened after I removed some temp files. I am not sure is it becos of that or some other. When I restored all temp files from recycle bin - explorer works some time else get a message " the instructions at "0x2c63040" referenced memory at
"0x2c63040". The memory cannot be read. Clik ok to terminate or cancel.

How to resolve this.

my advice load in safe mode, run system file checker from there by going to command prompt, inserting your windows disc and typing sfc/scannow . see if that fixes the problem
