Hi all
I have recently had problems with a trojan horse virus on my machine. AVG has cleaned it off succesfully. The problem I have now is when I open Windows explorer the right hand pane comes up blank and my CPU usuage rockets to 100% with explorer.exe using it all. I have tried stopping the explorer process and then running it again from task manager and the amount of CPU usuage returns to normal. However if i start My Computer or windows explorer again explorer.exe uses 100% of the processor and again the right hand pain is completely blank even though the status bar at the bottom states the amount of items in the folder/directory. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
Any suggestions greatfully received.
Bob
