Running W2k SP1. When opening Windows explorer, My computer, then expanding local drive C: I get the following error

Title of Error Explorer.Exe - Application Error

Dialog box: The instruction at "0x038bba72" referenced memory at "0x0000000". The meory could not be "written".

OK to terminate the program
Cancel to debug program.

When I click on "Cancel",it re-sets my desktop, "OK" just locks up the system.

Another thing, when I boot up, I've set up the Recovery Console so that it's available to me as a boot option, which brings me to a C prompt in the winnt directory.

Other than not being able to use Windows Explorer - Everything works fine <sigh>
