Hi all,
In Win 7, I've noticed that especially in File Dialog boxes, but also in certain situations in Windows Explorer, when a file is showing in the Right-Pane, and it's valid full path is showing in the Address bar, I look in the Left-Pane, and everything's collapsed and I can't see the folder hierarchy of where that file is.

True, I see it in the address bar, but what if I want to have what used to be the default, birds-eye view of the folder structure so I can navigate normally? How do I get that back?
Thanks,
--Jim

In Windows Explorer you can click the 'Organize' button and select 'Folder and search options'. Under the 'General' tab of the 'Folder Options' dialog box, select the 'Automatically expand to current folder' option to enable the feature you are after. You may also choose to select the 'Show all folders' option to give your Windows Explorer more of a classic feel as well.
