Windows Don't Close Any More

In the past couple of days, I've notice that many windows that used to automatically close no longer do.

For instance, when I open a folder window and choose a file inside the folder, both windows now stay open instead of closing the first one.

When I run Outlook, and click the Send/Receive button, when the messages are finished, the Send/Receive Progress window used to automatically close. Now it doesn't.

Anyone know how to reset windows to close these windows?

Thanks!

Jim

in wondows explorer-tools-options-drowse folders-toggle between the two options to see which suits.
Also the setting may be in tools options-view within one of the tick boxes there.
This can be a combination of factors and the best way to get the solution is to play around with the options mentioned.

Hmmm Don't try this in the morning, you generally don't see the "drowse" folder until late afternoon or after a big lunch.
