Windows compressing on TSM diskvolumes

Hi all!

What's your opinion on to compress TSM diskvolumes in Windows.

I read or heard somewhere that it's not good but..
Can someone please get more deeply on how compressed diskvolumes affect performance or other imortant things in TSM.

Windows 2003
TSM 5,2-5.3
