I have windows 98. The clock on the taskbar runs fast. Every week it jumps about 5 minutes ahead, even though thats not a lot of time it adds up through the course of a month. Is this even fixable?
I believe the clock timing is goverened by the system bios time. Therefore if your clock is not accurate check to see if there is a bios update for your mainboard. This may be a known issue with your mainboard, & as such a patch may exist..... James Goodman
