We have MC32N0 scanners running Windows CE 7. The RDP sessions seem to become idle after about 10 minutes of inactivity, even though the session timeout on the server it's connecting to is set to Never.
When it becomes idle (e.g. if a user goes on a break and comes back), they turn the screen back on, and the screen displays what they were last doing so they think they can pick up where they left off, but upon trying to actually scan something or touching the screen, it is actually unresponsive and prompts for the RDS Session credentials after about 5 seconds. This gets really annoying if they go off and do a short job, then come back and they have to re-log back in all the time.
I don't understand why it's still timing out if it's set to never time out on the server. Help would be much appreciated.
