I need some feed back!

Whenever an exsiting user logs into the Terminal Server through a Remote Desktop Connection a window pops up with a counter that explains - "Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. ..." After the counter reaches 29 it brings up a desktop. However, this is from a newlly created TEMP profile, and not the profile of the user. I suspect a malicious script runs which creates the TEMP profile, but so far I have not found such a script in question on the server! Any ideas?

I have seen this before and the past occur during failed GPO update on a server. Check the application log for USERENV errors. If a simple reboot of the server doesn't solve the prob, it may be because the profile is corrupted (do you get the same result when logging on as another user?).

Thanks,
This helped me troubleshoot to an answer, it turned that there where a series of power outages and power surges when this problem first occured and as a result it corrupted all of the profiles that where logged in at the time!
