We have Nortel PBX Option 11C using a VT100 terminal that uses ">" prompts and same terminal for Meridial Mail. I also use Procomm to access remotely.

Can someone recommend a Windows based application that would be easier to work with, for both PBX and Meridian Mail. Would also be interested in looking at separate applications if that is better option.

Well, there's phonemaster, but it's expensive. At least a couple grand. And it'll go up depending on how many TNs you have and how many PBXs you have. I'd just study these forums and teach yourself how to do things.

Procomm works great for both Switch and Mail. Just use VT100 for both and the Mail will use F1 through F4 the same way you would us F6 through F9. For F10 in Procomm, map the keyboard F5 (VT100) using this as the text sent.

Use F8 to open the keyboard map for changing the test sent.

this will emulate the F10 on the VT520. That way you can use Procomm for both applications. Really none better that I have found.
