Hi,
We recently upgraded a client machine to Windows 2000. Now, when attempting to access the server through OLE I get the old Login failed for user "(null)" error. SQL is set up for windows authentication, we are logging in as a domain user, and of course the users are set up as logins in SQL. This behavior happens for all windows users attempting to access SQL data from the machine in question. I've installed Connectivity Only from the SP Zero disk.
It seems that for some reason the windows username is not getting passed to SQL Server. SQL Server is running on NT4, so I thought maybe this was a cross-platform issue. Any ideas?
Thanks,
