Ok its normally a driver conflict!
Can you explain your problem in a more descriptive manner
Where exactly does it reeboot, before the login screen etc?
Have you done anything, that may have caused this to happen? eg updates.
Try hitting F8 and try the options such as booting in safe mode, Last known configuration etc...

Don't know if this will help but I've seen this happen when the CPU temperature "stop" setting in the Bios is set too low. Is your system running warm to hot? Make sure it can breathe (plenty of circulation) and bump the setting a few degrees to see if it stops re-rebooting.
thanks all,
one day before it's running well. and as long as i remember i did not put new software or hardware in my computer.
yes, it's reboots exactly berfore login screen.
i'm using compaq desktop pentium IV with memory 256 Mb (all hardware still standart, vga and network card ,sound card on board) my computer connecting to the network. my server always update service pack for windows and mcafee anti virus, i don't think this is the problem because we have couple computers like mine in the same network.
i did f8 tried safe mode but after it's finish start up... before login sreen it's reboot again, and i did Last known configuration still no luck...
You say you've run chkdsk /r - was that from recovery console?
Could also try disconnecting 'non-essential' hardware (network, sound, modem cards - or disable in bios if onboard, CD/DVD drives), and see if it will boot. If it does, reconnect one at a time - should find culprit if hardware. Also try different memory - or just each stick of yours on its own if > 1. Check cpu fan is functioning correctly (does mobo/bios have a temperature monitor?)
yes, it's was from recovery console..boot from cd..
i tried to use manual and fast repair but all can't done. (i mean always back to menu ....if you have emergency...)
i did not have emergency disk....
can i take emergency disk from other computer (the same type)?? or any way to repair all c:/winnt from cd in recovery console??
I've tried using repair disk created on a similar machine and it didn't work. However, with that said, give it a try, it's only a floppy disk and takes seconds to create.
To me, the issue sounds more like a hardware issue than either a software or driver issue. If its not an overheated motherboard and it continues after removing pieces of hardware, it could be the motherboard going bad. That happened to me last year. Replacing the motherboard was the only solution for me.
mahadewa - did you check out that link I posted? Its not the repair option that requires an ERD. You boot from the install CD and choose new install, NOT repair. It should then find your existing installation and offer to repair it for you. If you can get into recovery console, I'd be very surprised if this option was not available (sometimes it doesn't recognise existing installation - if this happens, its worth trying several more times. If you have more than one hard drive, disconnect the other drive while doing this).
Also - did you try my 'disconnect' devices approach?
thanks all, for the reply i realy appreciate..
using emegency disk with similar mechine not working,..
wolluf, i did disconnect divices like cd room diskdrive, replace with the other memory still no luck... i'm getting frustation... (i think it's not about hardware).
so.. like you said I boot from cd and choise new install and it's running well, and the impotant things is my data still there ..
(i said to my self, it's so simple,..)
