Hi,

Can someone recommend a windows alternative version control system rather than CVS/subversion that will require loading on a *nix box?

freeware or paid would be fine

many thanks

Thanks Keith - I think we are now trialling Tortoise SVN. Will post results here if anyone interested - can 9,000,000 people be wrong?!

I downloaded WinCVS, RapidSVN and Subversion. So far RapidSVN gets my vote, but still have not made a good login to SourgeForce, so vote is still out.

All,

haven't got any of these to work right. How about some help from a guru that hacked their way through the install and config problems to make it all work?

Good luck. CVSNT is working great for us. It was hell figuring it out, but it's working great. I can't give you a comprehensive instructions, but I'd be happy to help you if you get stuck.
