I'm still on Windows 98 and if I leave my computer on after a while and it just sits there..... after a while, it freezes up. Is there anything I can do? Its not program to shut down after a few minutes either.

Any Suggestions?

Mayby your computer turn on its Power Safe mode. You can configurate this on Control Panel, as i remember on System/Power Options or just selecting Power options. Take a look at the Power Schemes and there System Standby ant select --> never. Sorry, but this advice is really for W2K, but this should work such a same way as other operatin systems...

I have System Standby at 5 hours
Turn off monitor after 2 hours
Turn off hard disks after 5 hours

Possibly something as simple as overheating. Check the processor fan is running freely.
