I created a few reports in Crystal report XI on a Windows XP machine. Is ther a way I could use these reports on a Win98 machine.
If not, like I believe, what would be the way to do this, since my customer use Win98, and do not plan to update for other raisons.
Do I need to get a previous CR version?
Thanks in advance.

Yes - I think from memory Crystal 8.5 may be the most recent Crystal version that will run on Win 98.

Starting with Crystal 9, UNICODE support is required. That's why, unless you are willing to fight through setting up UNICODE on the Win 98 PC (not a good idea), you should go to Crystal 8.5 or upgrade the OS.

The bad news is that there's no way to save your Crystal XI reports as Crystal 8.5 reports.
