Windows 98, Web cam and cable modem

For some reason I can not get my web cam to broadcast. I have recently upgraded from a standard 56 modem to a tosiba cable modem. I have set the options to cable and still not luck. It acts like it is still trying to connect via modem. It will usually pop up a message saying port not open.
Anyone have any ideas. Thanks.

After searching logictech website. I ended up downloading the newest drivers and that seemed to fix the problem.
