HI
I want to send message in my LAN machines from Windows 98. Like in Windows 2000 we have the dos command 'NET SEND'. Do the 98 have similar kind of command to send messages?
Plz....help me on this.
Thanks in Advance

Windows 98 doesn't have the net send command builtin. If I remember right there is something called winpopup in Windows 9x. But I'm not sure if its compatible with net send or if you can only send between win9x computers.

Winpopup and 'net send' can communicate together. Winpopup doesn't automatically start in 9x by default. To have it always running, create a shortcut to winpopup in the start menu. You then might want to change the properties of the shortcut to start in a minimized window, so it's not so obrusive.

Hey guys..
