windows 98 program question 3

is "windows syncroad" an important part of windows starting and what is windows syncroad?
I also have another question involving syncroad, everytime that i shutdown windows tells me that syncroad has performed an illegal operation, what is the cause for this and how can i fix it?

P.S. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I suggest scanning for other malwares, usually you don't have one, you have a bunch.

Ad-aware is a nice, quick, easy tool

There are several downloadable packages that users need to get where the download. site is the easier access and faster transfer. Sometimes it is an earlier version, and that is a negative, but mostly they are current. And mostly you don't have to jump through any hoops.
Given the choice of the original or a mirror I ususally choose the mirror.

ok I see - I too choose mirrors over hoop jumping, and I haven't even visited many of those 'hi-traffic' sites in a long time - just that from going to like a cnet or zdnet or pcxxxx site in the long ago past......it was there that the hoops needed to be navigated through. It's always the highly publicized mirrors, and a place like the adaware's home nowadays must really be off the charts.
