Hi,

I have these settings on Windows 98.

1)Primary Network Logon
Client for Microsoft Networks
2)Access Control
Share-Level Access Control
3)NetBIOS is enabled over TCP/IP.
4)Workgroup name is same.
5)IP address and subnet mask are absolutely correct.
6)Network communication is occuring.

During boot process, I want Workgroup logon windows to appear, which is not appearing, Windows 98 is directly going to desktop.

any ideas........

Regards,

Muhammad Tayyab

fire up regedit and go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

change the value of AutoAdminLogon to 0
