I have a Windows 2000 server.
Some of PC's on the network are Windows 98
On some of this PC's it appears to be dropping the network connection and locking out the user account.

I am aware that in the registry a setting can be changed to stop the PC from dropping the network connection after a predefined period of time of in-activity.

Does anybody know where the location is.

Does anybody have any other suggestions.

Microsoft has a hotfix for this issue. It has to do with the vredir.vxd file. My apologies, I cannot remember the location of the Tech Support article, but I do know you need to call them on the phone to order the hotfix. I have been using it here on my network and it seems to fix this problem.
