I just put together a 1.2ghz pc with a IWill KA266 motherboard. My first problem was that when I went to install Windows 98 it gets to setting up hardware drivers and hits about 14 minutes remaining and locks up. If I reboot it finishes. I got everything setup but I had problems getting it to recognize my workgroup. I finally got that working. The next day I start it up and its not seeing the network again. TCP/IP is setup as it was/should be and IPX is installed and both are bindind to my NIC. Client for networks is also installed. The NIC is a LinkSys 10/100. Does anyone have ideas?

remove the ipx and tcp/ip drivers, reboot, and reinstall them. Also, in the ipx settings, it's best to use NetBios over IPX/SPX, and set the frame type to 802.2 on all computers.
