Hi,
I have an automated dial up process that runs on a Windows 98 machine, which connects via DUN to several computers and transfers selected files.
I recently introduced a Windows 2000 Pro machine to receive one of these calls. The Windows 98 machine successfully dials the Win2K Pro machine, however, once connected, the user ID/password dialog box comes up, and I have to delete the domain name and press Enter for the connection to establish. Both computers have the same domain name, and the Windows 98 user exists on the Windows 2000 Pro machine. Having to delete the domain name, of course, prevents this from being completely automated.
How can I resolve this? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
