I have recently had installed an extra drive and an extra 128mb of ram to my pavillion, i started it up and had a look at my new toys as soon as i got it home and then shut down after 15 mins. unfortunatly the next day i tried, it wouldn't start up, I had all the usaul windows 98 logos but an error message came up - C:windows\system\vmm32.vxd file missing, can't load, and then promptly shuts down. I re-started but the same message - then shut down. Anyone any clues of how I can get my PC started?

Thanks, it wasn't a RAM problem after all, I re-installed Windows 98 which did the trick, thanks for your replies.
