Windows 95 Shut Down 1

If I close windows 95 down properly the next time I boot I get a message saying that windows was not shut down properly and to run scan disk. Pressing any key to run scan disk then gives a message saying that scandisk.exe could not be found. Any Ideas!!

Thanks crisc , cant work it out . Click on the link & as you say , dos'nt go straight to the correct page , yet when I copy & paste from my own files , its OK .
