Ok so I've installed Windows 8 32bit on my laptop.
Installs without a hitch.
I had to manually install my touch screen drivers (N-TRIG) to calibrate the touch screen so that it was usable.
I also needed the quick launch drivers so it would automatically flip the display when I went from Laptop to Tablet Mode.
With that done I had a usable install of windows 8.
I'd have to say I not going to rush out and buy a copy when it's released.
If I wanted a touch compatible version of Windows 7 I'd use windows 7.
The most irritating thing I've found so far is the lack of on-screen keyboard on the remote desktop app (or mstsc run from system32)
What's the use of a tablet OS that can't be used with only touch input.
I realise it's only a beta but I must say I'm a little dissapointed.
