Windows 8 Installing Desktop Messaging 5

Tried to install DM 5 onto Windows 8 and I am getting errors any suggestions?

It would help if you could tell what the errors are…

During installation I am getting a WinFax.log type error you can actually see the message waiting indicator on the taskbar and you can actually see that it is connected to the server and tells you there a message just waiting but there is no sub folder created within Outlook 2013 that says call pilot

I install this on an XP machine in their office running 2007 and its working just fine unfortunately everythings upgraded to Outlook 2013

Also this is the version released 5 which as the Avaya logo on it when it loads it's no longer showing the Nortel logo

Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 (32 bit only) are the last supported versions.

As for versions/builds click "Help" and "About" on most software programs.

Last person to ask if it would work on Windows 8 did not yield any answers, not a lot of info on Outlook 2013 either.

I forgot to mention that I always tell a client it's "not supported", right there gets you off the hook and no headaches.
