Windows 7 starter - SP1 update error code 80246007

Well, what with one thing and another I finally got around to it tonight [blush]

I hadn't used the machine in an age - I allowed it to download all new updates and installed them in chunks until all updates except IE9 and a couple of 'voluntary' ones were done - as well as SP1. I then permitted SP1 and it installed this time. No issues except the whole process took over 5 hours! OK - so I did other things and missed the paint drying from time to time - anyway - time to do an image backup!

Thanks for eveyones suggestions on the original thread
