Windows 7 Home on the HP Mini 2102?

Will Windows Home or Pro run on a mini? This particular mini has a 1.66ghz N450 Atom processor and 1GB ram but can be upgraded to 2GB from what I understand. It came with Windows 7 Starter but that OS has its limitations. thanks!

best would be to upgrade the RAM to 2GB ...

See no reason home would not run, but yes add the ram & upgrade. I have worked on a few of these with Win7 Home Premium & they respond well.

Yes it will run but home/pro are more demanding than starter and will make that little Atom work hard.
I've got a Dell Mini 10 with the same CPU/ram and if you want better functionality think about down grading to XP Pro rather than adding the extra demands of 7 Home/Pro.
It will run a hell of a lot faster...really.

Note* the above issue (poor performance on full blown versions of Windows 7)may well be sorted with the introduction of the latest Dual core Atom N550.
Shame I didn't wait just several weeks before buying! hindsight is a wonderful thing! hayho.
