For some reason, when I hover over the minimized programs along the taskbar, instead of seeing the small translucent images of the screens, I see a simple blue rectangle with the program's names in it.

Anybody come across this kind of behaviour? It started all of a sudden right after I installed my Kodak EasyShare software. I did get a warning message about something related to having to go to lower resolutuion for something but I clicked OK before I really digested what it said.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,
Some applications do not work at all screen resolutions so they change them.
Right-click on taskbar and under properties check to see if the
'use Aero peek to preview the desktop' is checked.

You can change the resolution to what it was before that program but the program might not work.

The Use Aero Peek is already checked, but the property is grayed out. What's that indicate?

Make sure your display properties are correctly set.

The Bold line should be the important one, as the recently installed software may have changed the color display settings. Needs to be at 24 bit True color at least.
