I need to configure Windows 7 PCs to automatically log into an Active Directory at boot.
I have a couple dozen Windows XP PCs doing this today, but I've been unable to find a comparable method for Windows 7.

You need to set the following registry keys at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon:

[tab]AutoAdminLogon[tab][tab][tab]set to a value of 1
[tab]DefaultUserName[tab][tab] <Username>
[tab]DefaultPassword[tab][tab][tab]<Password>
[tab]DefaultDomainName[tab]<Your domain>
[tab]ForceAutoLogon[tab][tab][tab]set to a value of 1
[tab]AutoRestartShell[tab][tab][tab]set to a value of 1

The difference from XP is that DefaultDomain is now DefaultDomainName.
