Hi,

Past 2 days, 2 Windows 7 64bits notebook (Japanese version) that used IE9 slowing down during browsing (even the start home page).
i have tried to reset, removed feature from Windows component and re-install, and none of them can start normally.
Is there a solution for it? and i used other browsers and they run well.
Please advise.

Thank you and regards,
MOH SC

Malware, and Virus scans would be the first step.

Second: Any toolbars installed in IE those tend to Bog it down considerably? You may want to disable them.

Also any Add-ons that may be causing issues? You can try to start IE without any add-ons applied.
Click on the Start Orb, and type in:
Code:
iexplore -extoff

This should start IE with all add-ons disabled. See if that improves functionality. If it does, you can then enable the add-ons one by one until the slowness returns, and then you'll find your culprit if any.

Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

What is it like in "Safe Mode with Networking", or from Normal Mode, but with a different user?

Is this relevant, "even though you are a 64-bit machine the Default IE 8 or 9 should be the 32-bit version. That is the version that runs by default on 64-bit machines. If you use that version then the problems might vanish"?

Q&A: 64-Bit Internet Explorer
