Hi everyone,
I'm setting up a test machine for Windows 7(64). Since I've installed my Office XP(32) on the windows 7 machine MSAccess is no longer running programs. Access opens fine and I can load an mdb fine but when I try to run the program previously written on an XP machine it complains about comdlg. Going to 'References' shows nothing missing, common dialog is checked. I need this to open 'file' dialog boxes.
Has anyone experienced any issues with Windows 7 and MS Access along this line? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

common dialog is checked
Have you tried to uncheck it and then to check it ?
Does the DB compiles properly ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Oops! I was looking at the wrong checkable item in the 'Reference' list. Actually there is no entry for Common Dialog to be checked.

And when I try to add it I get a message that it can't add the item.

Okay, the problem was solved by re-installing the MODS files on the new amachine. ComDlg is not distributed in the Office Pro set. It came in the MODS discs.
