Windows 2k pro keeps losing network printer

We have a small group of windows 2k pro machines that are connected to an HP network printer. When you first boot these machines up, they network printer shows up and they will print fine. However, after the win2k machines have been on for a while, they loose the network printer. In other words, if you go to the printers menu, the installed network printer no longer shows up. Now, when you restart the machine, it will show up again. Has anyone ever seen this happen? We have some Win XP Pro machines that are connected to this same network printer, and they do not do this. Just the Win 2k pro machines. Please Help!!!

Try running this command and see if it resolves the issue.
net config server /autodisconnect:-1

I have had 2 XP laptops here lose all their printers from time to time. The print spooler service had stopped on them, restarted the service on the client it was fine.
