Windows 2K logon Failure

Hello,

I am in deep trouble, when i logon it accepts the login , but after few seconds throws me out and comes back to the login window. This is true for any user and administrator . I have tried using Safe mode and last known good configuration.

Pl. help.

Can you give more details.
i.e. is this a new system or an already existing system?
are you logging into a domain or a workgroup?
when you say 'it accepts the logon' does that mean you are getting as far as your desktop?
