Tek-Tippers,

I have the strangest issue: Trying to install Windows W2K8R2 on a Thinkserver rd330. Bios, Windows is unable to see the drives,Easyupdate does not see the drives: LSI sees the drives and they can be initialized, configured in a RAID 0. However,Windows still refuses to see the drives. I have tried both AHCI and IDE configurations; disabled the onboard RAID..Nothing seems to work..I have tried a different had drive, the problem is the same...Anyone seen this before

During the Windows install did you add the LSI Windows driver? Some LSI adapters work with native Windows drivers, others do not. See if there is a external driver
