I've been asked to upgrade to Windows 2003 SP1...problem is we're using Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows 4.1 and allegedly...it's a convoluted upgrade and the possibility of losing disk signatures and the accompanying data exists. The other problem is that there is really scant information from Veritas and Microsoft on this issue. I'm going to engage both vendors but I wanted to throw this out to the group to see if someone has already gone through this upgrade and what steps and/or gotchas there might exist. We're also using EMC PowerPath for multi-pathing software so that's in the mix as well, but I'd like to know primarily about Storage Foundation and Windows.
