Hi,

I need to run adprep to upgrade the schema on our DC (see here: however, I don't have Windows 2003 Server R2 CD2 which has the updated adprep tool. I only have CD1 which is an OEM version. I've checked on the server's i386 directory and found nothing.

My reasoning is that this must have happened to other people, so what should I do?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

My guess is the server you are trying to run adprep on is Pre R2 correct? the only reason you need to run the R2 cd2 adprep on that domain controller is if you are going to introduce another AD server that is R2 into the pre R2 domain. with that said you can use cd2 from the R2 media set you got with the new server on the pre R2 server.
