Hi
I have a windows 2003 SBS. It is configured with the following services. DHCP server, domain controller and DNS.
When the server is connected through a dial-up modem, users on the network are automatically logged on to the network.
How can I give permission to some users/groups and not others.

Thanks for your assistance

Thomas

You didn't say which version of SBS 2003. If it's Premium, install & configure ISA

Other than installing ISA there isn't too much you can do.

I will say that you can restrict access by computer to a degree. If all your clients are on one subnet, do not pass the gateway as a scope option in your DHCP (no routing, no internet). For all the PC's you want to access the internet, make a reservation for them and pass the gateway as a reservation option.

Start, Help. You'll be surprised what's there. A+/MCP/MCSE/MCDBA
