We have a Server running Windows 2003. When we start this machine, it has about 25GB free on C:. However, over a period of about a week, this free space trickles down and then promptly crashes to 0. The physical drive is partitioned and there is no problem on the second logical partition. Restarting the machine recovers all the lost memory.
Virus scans on the machine do not find any problems. Scan disk checks are also not finding any issues. Page file size is 2GB and page file utilization is at 10%. When we examine all the folders and files, including hidden on C: none has increased in size.
Any ideas?
