Hello,

I have recently started a new job, and one of the servers is a windows 2003
server, running as a Terminal Services, that has Office 2000 pro load onto it (
what method they used to itstall it , I do not know ).

Everytime the server reboots ( there is a nightly schedualed task that does
this ), and I log in as Administrator, I get a series of error messages, all
saying :-

Microsoft Word for Windows encountered a problem and needs to close.

when I click on the CLICK HERE link, I get the following information.

Error Signature
szAppName: WINWORD.exe szAppVer: 9.0.0.69.26 szModName: hpzui4wm.dll
szModVer: 61.63.461.42 offset: 001f852f

I googled the DLL and it's to do with on of the printers, and I checked to
see if we have the latestest drivers installed, and we do.

I beleieve this error is trickling down to the users, as i am getting calls
re: Excel, Word crashing out on them, mostly when trying to print.

Any ideas / help / fixes greatfully recived.

Thanks in advance

Gerald

how are the printers being delivered to the ts user's
are they passing through via ts

or are they networked printers that are scripted.

personally as it's ts - then it is most likely a dodgey driver - aviod pcl6

Thanks for the advice, I'll try it when I get into work.
I think I already have some PCL6 printers,.... is there a way to still use them? Do I tell TS that they are LJ 4's , or something like that ?

The printers are being past over using software form BlackIce called PrinttoRDP, but it's still not 100% reliable
