I am running backup exec 9.1 on a Windows 2000 Server. I have, amongst other things, a Windows 2003 server to be backed up.
However, whenever the backup job gets to the shadow copy compoments on the Windows 2003, the backup exec agent on the target server crashes.
The Veritas website had one, very well hidden, article that stated that there was a bug and that if you had more than three drives to be backed up, the agent would crash. This server has been reconfigured with just 2 partitions now and still the problem remains.
In the short term, I can just backup the system state to file using the native backup utility, but it sems silly to have to do this when I have a supposedly powerful centralised backup utility to do this for me.
